Opening Words Dear Sirs, It is our pleasure to announce to all of you the present situation of SFERA, both to you who already know the Association since its legal constitution early this year, and to those who have heard of the Association for the first time through the web site. You will have found indications about the new managing office of SFERA, held by the present Board and founded during these last months in Pescara (Abruzzo region, Italy). It is not yet foreseen as a desk for those who would like to contact us directly as it is not continuously man-powered yet. You can contact us by FAX, through our mail addresses, and our postal address. We have placed a Form on the web site that can be used by those who are interested in becoming a Member of the Scientific Committee of SFERA. We invite those interested to take note of the description of roles of this Committee in SFERA’s Charter and fax us ASAP the form, and we hope, of course, that many of you will be enthusiastic to apply for this position, join the team, and help us in organising the scientific activities.
